Reasons for Error Messages in Point of Sale Screen
(Normally Database Corruption)

1. Power Failure. Run the Flowmaster Database Recovery Utility.
2. Switched POS Unit off without performing End of Day or exiting system.
    Run the Flowmaster Database Recovery Utility.
3. Computer or Point of Sale Hardware malfunctioning. Call your Hardware Dealer.
4. Windows Operating System malfunctioning. Call your Hardware or Windows Dealer.
5. Virus Infection. Ensure your virus checker is up to date!

Reasons for red "Possible Corruption Screen"

1. Didn’t shut down The POS System in the proper manner.
2. Power Failure, run Flowmaster Database Recovery Utility before proceeding.
3. Switched POS Unit off without performing End of Day or exiting system.
    Run the Flowmaster Database Recovery Utility.
4. Computer or Point of Sale Hardware malfunctioning. Call your Hardware Dealer.
5. Windows Operating System malfunctioning. Call your Hardware or Windows Dealer.

Recovering Your Lost Sales Figures

1. Set the required date on your POS Unit.
2. Re key your lost transactions.
3. Repeat the dial up.
4. Reset the POS Unit date.

Docket Printers

The docket printers listed below have all proved themselves in client installations and we recommend them.

To setup the correct controls for your printer, type in the word Print at the Fastpath: prompt, (Must be capital P and lowercase rint), and press the F7 key. This should take you to/or select "Printer Controls". Tab down to the "Printer Type:" item and use the F4 key to select the required model. Press the Enter key to save your selection.

Note: If you do not have the Printer Controls component installed in your system then you will need to purchase it.

1. Citizen Models iDP3530/iDP3540/iDP3541 (and later models of similar type).
2. Citizen Model 380.
3. Citizen Models CBM 230/231.
4. IBM SureOne (Star) - use this for Star brand printers.
5. No Control Chars - use this for early model docket printers and non docket printers, e.g. dot matrix printers, bubble jet printers, laser printers etc.
